Nest Fire Engine

What better embodiment of the Nest Protect smoke alarm than our own Fire Engine? We bought a used one on Craigslist, shipped it from Oregon to West Coast Customs in LA (the guys behind Pimp my Ride), and painted it blue.

The project was an efficient media buy: for the cost of the remodel, we got a TV episode documenting the build-out, and an inexhaustible source of social media content.

The Fire Engine went on a long tour of the continental US, with the purpose of educating customers on fire and CO prevention, and of course, to showcase our product. Then we shipped it to Europe and did it all over again.
