Thumbtack was built to be brand-less. Customers would literally not realize they were using it. Then came huge product shifts, new ambitions, and the sudden realization that Thumbtack needed a brand that would stick. We developed Thumbtack’s first real brand strategy, brand identity and design system to launch with the company’s new instant customer experience.

Nothing makes you look shadier than a website full of stock photography. We undertook a huge project to redo all our photography, creating a new visual language for authenticity and trustworthiness.

Where photography feels too specific, a playful illustration style brings buoyancy and color to otherwise dry product moments.
